Apparently it tin can't be processed with any payment type - not fifty-fifty PayPal.  This has been going on for two days now.  I don't accept time to stand up in line at the post part all day!  I thought that's what this site was supposed to convalesce!

Here are the two solutions to this problem:

Try this first: go to My Contour, Edit, Modify This Address, fix anything that is manifestly incorrect, Verify This Accost, one time it's verified hit Continue twice. Then attempt to purchase postage. This worked for at least three people including me.

I have the same problem. Even PayPal fails with the aforementioned fault. The VISA transactions are actually going through to the banking concern. At present, all of a sudden, I get erroneous cc error message. Called my bank, they couldn't explicate it. I have all the address data the same and have not inverse information technology for years. Now, my business organisation is stalled and f'd up because I cannot create the labels online. I also tried paypal. I ordered stamps successfully with my same cc and went right back to try and click and ship - same error message. I know it would not practice any good to telephone call them. ugh. Been having this problem since the first of the year. Neither paypal nor credit cards will work. Even set upwardly whole new account and it wouldn't work. Did online chat and email with USPS. My trouble has been "escalated" for trouble solving only nonetheless nothing.

Seriously have had this issue for 3 straight weeks now and it SUCKS!!!!!!! I pay more going to the post office and their hours suck and then it makes it and so difficult at present to get packages out in a timely style. I hate USPS, seriously. I'd love that number too. I need it actually, since they disallowed international packages from brick stores, wtf am i supposed to do. I've had this problem on and off for a yr now. one time i got it unlocked didn't piece of work. Another time I tried the same payment I had tried a infinitesimal before, everything exactly the same, and it worked! There system is so ffffffffffffffffffed up, i cant stand it. And then AFTER ANOTHER two HOURS ON HOLD I FINALLY GET TO A HUMANOID WITH SOME SKILLS.  Co-ordinate to her my account was locked because while my credit bill of fare billing address is my Corporate Office, the ship from address is the address of our warehouse and is different.  Co-ordinate to her that is why the business relationship was locked.   Personally I think that is BS since this has been this way for over 7 years and has never been an consequence earlier.   I will allow you all know if the consequence gets resolved anytime soon.

As promised here is my update:   Equally of this forenoon I was able to print out a batch of labels.  Will non know if my business relationship gets flagged again until I impress out another batch.  If it fails once again I will let anybody know.  If not for at present I am done here.

Phone call them and just wiat information technology out til some humanoid answers.  Keeep with them til you get someone who can answer why the account is locked.  If ane cannot figure information technology out ask to speak to their superior.

Today I got a phone call from a very nice USPS representative, proverb the trouble was caused by my accessing my account from exterior the United states.  The rep (a lady) authorized my foreign IP number, and said I should not have any more than trouble.

I get the same error message - 06/02/2014.  Tried mutiple credit cards, Paypal, Safari, Firefox, Mac and PC.  Finally just used Fedex 2 day for my 40 packages.  I wasted a lot of fourth dimension - commencement entering all the addresses and so trying to get it to work.

I know their Information technology section keeps finding a reason to defer this merely that'south not the problem. The cc is registered under the aforementioned proper noun and address.

There'due south something incorrect in the way they have implemented "payment gateway" that causes this trouble. It might be picking upwards business name instead of person name, or 9 digit zipcode instead of 5 digit that is registered with the cc.

I've been having the same trouble with my credit cards being denied since 07-03-fourteen.  First thing that was weird is I had entered in the names and addresses into the USPS click northward ship and so I had logged out.  When I came back, the addresses I had just input were not in my cart.  I created a new account, re-input the names and the aforementioned thing happened.  That went on for 2 days.  Then the USPS click n ship declines ii credit cards and PayPal since 07-04-fourteen.  I finally had to utilise Stamps.com to go my packages out.  Thanks everyone for the phone number i-877-747-6249 to telephone call to find out what is going on.  If I get any answer that might be useful, I will relay it to you lot.

Spoke with USPS IT today and found out that my Click North Ship account had been locked due to security reasons.  Information technology said information technology would have 48 hours minimum before they could unlock my business relationship.  In the meantime, I'yard using Stamps.com.  I will report back if my business relationship isn't unlocked.

Can't USPS do some thing about this problem? I have 50 packages to mail out and information technology volition take two hours at the USPS location because they take to do the aforementioned manual inputs for every single receipient. The work around I used was to add a credit card to my usps account

I chosen and waited for about 1 hour, then got through. It turned out that my account was locked. They unlock it. Then I finally was able to pay! Though I nevertheless accept the 'shipping date' problem under IE11, simply that ane can be bypassed by using Chrome.

Today I saw Hao's advice and called the USPS Tech Dept. 800-344-7779 and my account was back to normal in 3 hrs.

I had the aforementioned issue today, simply as I waited on hold with the USPS Tech Department, a USPS Rep chosen my cell phone and told me they had noticed I was having issues paying for and printing labels.  They said information technology was a technical event and that they simply fixed the issue, and they had!  I'thousand incredibly impressed at this astonishing speedy service, wow.  Tin can't say enough good things about how fantastic and helpful that was esepcially during the Christmas aircraft rush.  And very rare in the client service world.

I waited on concord for i 60 minutes x minutes on the technical support line 800-344-7779 (press 1, and so 4).  An operator answered, I explained problem and she said she would send a request to the tech support team. I received an e-mail a few hours later stating the account error was resolved.

Information technology doesn't matter whether I add a crredit card to my contour or choose PayPal, the bulletin remains the same. Updating a contour address, which is right, does nothing. Given the ludicrous wait times on the telephone experienced by others, I'll choose a competitor instead. Makes me question the security of my information when and so many others are having the same problem, and that information technology has been going on for such a long time. Why isn't a USPS site coming upwardly when I blazon in their fault message?

I have had problems with processing payments on USPS.com for months. It almost never goes thru on the first time. I've tried different browsers on computers with different Bone types and several payment methods (CC & PP). I never know what volition finally make it go thru. I've created another USPS.com account, using another email. I agree I giv eup on tyring to order stamps online.  The USPS is a joke.  I had my postal service on concord for 10 days while out of town for the holiday and the carrier delivered postal service to my house every unmarried day.  I filed a complaint and the postmaster sent me a reply stating the carrier was probably a substitute and that it would be addressed in the carriers morning meetings.

The USPS needs to get their sxxx together if they want to keep customers.

Y'all're not alone. After years of using Click Northward Transport with no issues, I'k experiencing same issue.
Called 1-800-344-7779 and spoke with somebody at Pocket-sized Business. They told me they will escalate to the tech department and that the result should be resolved by tomorrow. We'll see.

I ended up using Paypal labels. Less toll yes, simply a hurting for somebody like me who ships ten+ packages per solar day to echo customers.

Took me 4 times as long as I wasn't used to the interface.

Our issue was resolved within ane 24-hour interval of finding the right approach!  Nosotros called 1-800-inquire-USPS then asked to talk to the tech support. This happened to me Saturday. Be very careful because I got charged many times on two accounts. The charges to my bank debit bill of fare did not reverse automatically and has caused overdraft charges. I had v charges of $150.07 each for two express labels I was ordering. I'1000 trying to contact usps now. The many charges to my paypal debit carte du jour were removed by Paypal but my bank says they can non remove them.

All together I had $1500.00 plus charges on my accounts.

Tried paypal non debit card payment and it was declined too but did not accuse me.

Funny matter is I had merely ordered a priority domestic label five minutes before error and after many tries on the two international express labels I removed the insurance I was trying to purchase with them and transaction went through. I planned on calculation insurance at post function to those 2 packages but they refused. I had to manually purchase 2 NEW labels for $157 and asking a refund on the ii I had finally managed to lodge.

Has USPS replied to this problem?  I can't make it to the mail service role, so I want to use this method and haven't had any problems until this transaction.  I besides have pending charges and am hoping that they don't release them.

While I was waiting I found two alternatives that use USPS... first uses Commercial Base Rate - Shippingeasy dot come and if you do less than fifty ships per month it is free. The other i is goshippo.com Also free, but no limit on number of uses. 7 cents per label accuse however. It gives yous the aforementioned pricing you lot go with USPS Online. I will proabbly terminate up using both. Merely pee'd that I accept a couple hundred names and addresses stored on the USPS web site and I have to re-enter them all!

I too have had this problem and none of the fixes (clearing cookies, changing address, etc.) have worked. I signed up for a costless trial at the shipping like shooting fish in a barrel website and really paid less than I was quoted at USPS for a package. I'll be using this until USPS gets their issues worked out.

Almost 2018 and STILL the same problem. USPS would be great if it actually did the one task it was supposed to do. I tried three dissimilar browsers, unlike credit cards, paypal, clearing cache, and nothing worked. I did finally get it to work though past printing a label directly through the paypal site.

February 2018 and the SAME Trouble is still going on. three different credit cards all "declined", except all the charges post to the account. I tried this to avoid the nightmare of actually stepping pes in one of these dumps. How can one arrangement be such a complete pile of garbage? Unbelievable. I've been having this verbal problem for months! There was also wierd stuff happening with my account, like it automatically loging me off randomly. Or nothing showing in my cart even when I click on it, and then randomly showing my labels at other points.

Basically, my Dad hasn't had any problems with his business relationship so he got the labels for me.

My advise, find a friend who has this working for them and enquire them to do it for you.

I've tried from Firefox, Cyberspace Explorer, Chrome on multiple computers, and from unlike logons, tried 3 unlike credit cards and paypay. and all give "Distressing, your transaction has been declined. Your transaction cannot be processed at this fourth dimension with this payment type."

The pending charge shows up fine in my credit card accounts and I get an email detect "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Pending Item" for each try.

Information technology's March 2020 and this problem is even so ongoing.

May 2020 - Still happening.  They have known of this outcome for over half dozen years now
